Episode 9

Diving into Ethereum and Beyond

Published on: 4th February, 2024

This time I am speaking to Paul Dylan-Ennis.

Paul is is a lecturer/assistant professor in the College of Business, University College Dublin. He is the author of the forthcoming book "The Absolute Essentials of Ethereum". Paul writes about Ethereum culture and values.

If you have read Vitalik Buterin’s fantastic piece Make Ethereum Cypherpunk Again - Paul was the one who reviewed and provided feedback for that one.

In this episode we talked about:

  • how and why was Ethereum created
  • previous cycles and is it going to be the same ride when the bull is back
  • what did NFT hype bring into this space
  • projects that have a soul
  • cypherpunk culture
  • possible scenarios of what Erthereum’s will be like in the future
  • thoughts about the future of this space

That's it for now.
